Blue Mountains Quilters is a Quilt Guild, based in the Blue Mountains region, west of Sydney in NSW, Australia. ​​

Coming off the back of the quilt show in 2017 was the idea to create a guild that is for quilters in the Blue Mountains region. Many people had expressed an interest wanting to get involved with quilting groups in the region and in October 2017 a group from the Springwood Community Quilt Show Committee began the process of incorporating Blue Mountains Quilters. Springwood Community Quilt Show would now come under the umbrella of the new guild and would continue to be the main fundraising event for Blue Mountains Quilters Inc.

BMQ has members with a wide range of talents, interests and skill levels from beginner to professional who come together from all over Sydney and Blue Mountains to learn and be inspired by each other.

We meet on the first Saturday of the month at Lawson Anglican Church Hall for our Stitchers Gathering.

We enjoy helping our community through fundraising and hosting our biennial Blue Mountains Quilt Show. This is Australia's only non-juried quilt show with stalls, a cafe and a Blue Mountains quilter as our featured quilter.
