Community Quilts - June 2023

This collection of Show and Tell at the June meeting reflects the work of the BMQ Community Quilts sub-group, which meets once a month. Our quilts are made for the women and children seeking safety at Wimlah Refuge in Katoomba, and other clients.

A very varied stash of donated fabrics, blocks, partial and complete quilt tops challenges our creativity and the support of some generous long arm quilters is much appreciated. A few donations are finished quilts as well.

We hope that the wonderful variety in size, style, and design of what we make means that each woman and each child find a quilt they love that is theirs to keep.
